Jewish community in London under “alarming, disgusting and growing assault”, says Lib Dem London Spokesperson

Responding to the news that two Jewish men have been seriously injured after being stabbed in north London, Liberal Democrat spokesperson for London Luke Taylor MP said:

“I'm alarmed at the reports of yet another attack on Jewish residents in North London this morning. This epidemic of antisemitic violence in North London is spreading and can no longer be treated as a few isolated cases.

“The Jewish community are under an alarming, disgusting and growing assault that threatens the fabric of our city.

“It’s time to deploy even more police resources to these communities and step up efforts to identify and reach people susceptible to this kind of dangerous violent extremism, so that the right interventions can be made, be they through police action or engagement with education, community leaders or social services."
