Giving Russians Real News About Ukraine

A social event with Rob Blackie Mon 20 March, 7pm, £10 - Soup and a glass of wine included

At the outbreak of the invasion, Rob Blackie put together a volunteer-run campaign to smuggle independent, uncensored news about the war in Ukraine into Russia, using digital advertising.

So far, his crowd-funded project has had 500 million views in Russia and has been featured in The Guardian and elsewhere.

Rob will talk about how he has found this, and how you can help, and what lessons we can learn as Lib Dem campaigners.

Rob Blackie is a Lib Dem who has stood as London Assembly Member and is the CEO of Biotech Strategy
